Looking for a Nuna DEMI Grow Stroller?
We discovered this stroller once we knew our second child was on her way…

We knew big changes were in order.
In other words, we had to prep for having lots of baby gear again!
It felt overwhelming...
Our “to do” list of baby stuff to organize kept growing…
Now, for a lotta stuff this meant:
Updating what we had in stock.
Which turned into hours of: Sorting. Organizing.
And throwing things out.
Adding another baby to the family meant we needed to upgrade certain items so we could use it for both kids.
In particular, there was one BIG buying decision we had to make…
What to do about a stroller?
Going from one to two kids meant we needed a bigger stroller.
While we’d invested in the single Nuna Pippa Max stroller for our first child, it wasn’t going to work with two.
Instead, we needed something reliable, sturdy, and well designed.
So we did a ton of research…
…and settled on one that was the perfect fit in all these categories.

The Nuna DEMI Grow Stroller
If you’re already excited enough to check one out and start shopping, go here. If not, keep reading…
After a detailed search, we invested in the Nuna DEMI Grow Stroller.
The Nuna DEMI Grow is a sleek, sturdy two-child stroller for growing families.
It’s an excellent ride for two that’s well balanced and doesn’t mean buying a bunch of add ons.
This stroller glides like a breeze…

It’s sturdy, solid design, and built with high-quality materials.
The upper part holds either a car seat or the regular seat.
And it has different holders compatible with different car seats.
The lower level has a seat for your older child, but you gotta buy that separately.
But there are design features that make it different from competitors:

Who’s The Nuna DEMI Grow Stroller Is For, And Who It’s Not For
This stroller is perfect if you’re:
- On the go
- Want a stylish yet comfortable ride
- Quality to last the test of time.
If you’ve only got one kid, you might not find this stroller as helpful.
It’s really for parents with an infant or baby and a child who’s older.
We’d say it’s for a more urban or suburban family.
It’ll get you from the car to the Starbucks across the street.
It’s not going to be great if you need something for more rugged conditions.
If you want a stroller that you can run, jog or work out with, you’ll want something in addition to this stroller.
What the Stroller Can Do, And Can’t
It’s pretty amazing what this stroller can do.
It’s no simple task to balance two children. But this stroller does it with no hiccups. Check out the elegant design of this support:

It’ll comfortably offer a ride for your older child while securing your car seat for the baby up top.
The wheels pop off if you need to fit it in a tight space.
So if you’ve got little trunk space or need extra room for a long trip, don’t worry about the wheels taking up space.
With that said, this isn’t a low price point. t’s a serious buying decision.
Think of it as an investment.
And while it’s a high-quality stroller, the higher price point doesn’t mean it’s going to do all sorts of wonderful things for you, like make lattes or cook dinner.
The Nuna DEMI Grow Stroller PROs

There are so many awesome things with the Nuna strollers it’s hard to know where to start!
First, it feels premium! The high-quality style of the materials feels good in your hands.

And the mesh style fabric of the seating feels very comfortable on the skin.
Another awesome feature about the Nuna brand of strollers and car seats is that you can pop the car seat in and out of the holder for it.
Its inline design (vs a more sequential layout) makes it seem like it glides easier.
And this is the main reason we went with this stroller over a competitor from Uppababy.
A comparable stroller, the Uppa Baby, stroller sticks out more, looks really long, and isn’t balanced on the center of gravity.
But the DEMI Grow is more sleekly aligned for a smoother glide and easier to push.
In short, these pros mean that using this stroller is easy to maneuver, gives you options for ways for the kids to ride, and isn’t a pain to haul around.

Over time, these features will reduce your stress levels and save you time. (P.S. If you’re looking for more ideas to reduce your stress, check out these tips).
Now that we’ve covered the pros, let’s talk about some of the cons:
Some CONs of the Nuna DEMI Grow Stroller
While this stroller has a lot of pros, it’s got a few downsides that are worth knowing about.
For example…
The car seat shade magnets aren’t super strong.
And this is a two child stroller, so it’s not super compact.
In general, while the Nuna DEMI Grow is sturdier than other brands that also means it takes up more space in either your car trunk or back of your SUV.
One early con we had to figure out was how to unlatch they lower seat bar.
Our son is 2.5 so we didn’t want it in his way. And we haven’t bought any accessories so we didn’t really need them.
We got it unhooked from one side but when we went to futz with the other side it seemed to be stuck.
Huh, I thought. Everything else seemed to click and unlocked in a hurry.
Key Nuna Demi Grow Features
- You can use it as a single OR double stroller
- The double stroller seats both hold kids up to 50 lbs
- You can put the Nuna PIPA car seat on the top or bottom
- Thick wheels glide smoothly on pavement or off-road
- Lock the handlebar lower or higher for best comfort
- The harness is three or gives points for optimal comfort
- Easy to use step on wheel lock
Conclusion: We Recommend!
So, do we think this is a fabulous stroller?
Absolutely! We love it.
We started with the Nuna Max stroller when we just had one child, and have since graduated.
With its sleek balanced design and sturdy yet beautiful design, this stroller will leave you feeling excited to get out of the house, even if it’s just to run errands!
